Welcome to the piano studio of Lisa Ramirez!
We proudly offer piano lessons to the Greater Memphis area, conveniently located in Cordova with close proximity to Germantown, Collierville, Lakeland, Bartlett, and Arlington.

Here, we believe that learning music should be a joyful and fulfilling experience for students of all ages and levels. With twenty-six years of experience as a piano teacher, I am passionate about helping my students discover their love for music, develop technical skills, and express themselves creatively. My partner, Ashley Shearin, and I tailor each lesson to the individual needs of our students, focusing on both classical and contemporary styles, depending on your preferences and goals.
Whether you're a beginner just starting out or an advanced student looking to refine your technique, our teaching emphasizes a solid foundation in music theory, ear training, and performance. We offer private one-on-one lessons and group classes for children and adults. You can expect a welcoming and encouraging environment for learning.
We have flexible lesson plans that cater to your pace and interests. There are recitals and performance opportunities to build confidence.
We strive to create a positive and inspiring atmosphere where students not only improve their piano skills, but also gain a lifelong appreciation for music. Whether you're looking to pursue music as a career or simply for personal enrichment, we are here to guide you on your musical journey!
Services
Package one for Grades K-12
Package one includes 36 private lessons over a twelve month period.
Tuition includes all group classes and recitals throughout the year:

30 minute lesson $169.00 monthly
45 minute lesson $227.50 monthly
60 minute lesson $286.00 monthly
Package two for grades K-12
Package two includes 44 private lessons over a twelve month period.
Tuition includes all group classes and recital throughout the year:
30 minute lesson $195 monthly
45 minute lesson $266.50 monthly
60 minute lesson $338 monthly
​Adult lesson package
Adult lessons are $78 per hour. You can decide the length and frequency of your lessons and pay monthly. For example, if you want three 30 minute private lessons each month, your monthly tuition would be $117.
Lisa Fairchild Ramirez
Lisa Ramirez received her Masters Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Memphis in 2005, where she also earned the coveted Performers' Certificate. Her teachers include Samuel Viviano, Genaro Santoro, Sheila Paige, Nina Drath, and her mother, Judith Fairchild.
Ms Ramirez has won numerous national and international piano competitions and has performed solo concerts across the United States and Europe, including Carnegie Hall. She has performed concerti with symphonies in Dallas, Kansas City, Paducah, and Memphis.
Ms Ramirez has been an adjudicator for competitions in Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. She was a church organist and choir director for 15 years and is an accomplished organist and harpsichordist. She has written pedagogical material that has been published in the Music Teachers National Association magazine.
She has dedicated her life to teaching precocious children, and her students are widely known for their high levels of achievement in performance and competition.
